This part of the series covers the period between 1868-1877, in which the author presents a detailed background of the life of Bahá'u'lláh in the prison of Akká. The main purpose in this volume is to describe the contents of some tablets revealed by Bahá'u'lláh such as: Tablet Salman, Tablet of Ra'is, Tablet of Fouad, Tablets sent to most powerful kings and rulers, Suriy-i-Haykal, Tablet of Sultan, Tablet of Vision and many others. Also deals with clarifications and explanations of many rules and regulations mentioned in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas. It also covers the life and conditions of some of the friends who came to visit Bahá'u'lláh.
